When you need an good quality and available dog groomer... dog dayz is my go to! Wow was it easy and quick to get my pup taken care of with great quality. I love how they have handled COVID, they stayed professional the whole process. Not only does this place do groomer for your pup but training, and boarding! The location was VERY easy to get to in addition to all of this! Win win for me and will so be coming back for more services.
This was my first time to ever board my dogs. I boarded both my dogs with Dog Dayz for a week. The staff was very friendly and were great with both my fur babies. When I picked them up they were happy and seemed to have enjoyed their stay! I will definitely use Dog Dayz again. Thank you for taking great care of them!
Poor customer service & and unreliable. Do not disclose illnesses your pet may have been exposed to when they are made aware. We found at when arriving to take our pet to daycare. Dog arrived home with diarrhea many times.
Where do I begin?! I took my German Shepherd (Elvis) to Dog Dayz for boarding shortly after they opened. I moved out of state in 2015 but then returned in 2022 and took my Golden Retriever (Theo) for boarding and occasional daycare. Elvis and Theo always came home with nothing but great things to say about their time at Dog Dayz, and they were always excited to go back! I never had a problem booking Elvis and Theo for their stays (as long as I scheduled in advance when during major holidays or school breaks) and the check-in/check-out times are extremely flexible. The option to have them groomed before pick-up was super appreciated and helpful. Most importantly, the entire staff was always so friendly and reasonable, and I could tell that they truly love dogs - I never had to worry if Elvis and Theo were in good hands because I knew they were in excellent hands. I really loved the fact that I could get an update if I called during one of my trips, and I paid a little extra to get daily email updates on my longer two-week trips. Sadly, I recently moved out of state yet again... but the icing on the cake was when the staff had Theo pick his favorite toy on his last day and shared the video with me, which was so thoughtful. They even threw a little farewell party when I picked him up for the last time. I can only hope to find a similarly amazing place in my new home state! We will miss Dog Dayz so much!!
We had an issue with our dogs. We were on our honeymoon and we extended 2 more days. When we left initially, we asked for our dogs to be fed 9:30 and 6:30. We also paid the extra for 6 hours of play time. When we returned while I was waiting to pick them up, the person at the front mentioned that they had breakfast at 6:30 am. To be fair she may not have known but none the less it lead to our next issue. We were told that the dogs don’t go outside because they could get out onto 37 and they did not want the risk. When they brought my dogs out the door, the lady stated your dog is a little muddy do you want me to wash him before you take them home? I immediately had my second concern because how could he be muddy if they don’t go outside. I got them in my truck and looked them over, they stunk like urine and feces really bad. I was absolutely livid. I didn’t go back in because it didn’t want to argue. I called my groomer and asked if she could get them in as an emergency bathe. She agreed. Both her and her dog washer commented on the stench of my dogs and the fact that both of them were covered in dry urine. Additionally feces was matted in there hair.
I called and ask for a refund of which I was given but I had serious concerns about the welfare of my dogs.
You may say I’m not in your system and that I’ve never been there but look up Larry and Aspyn under my married name. I don’t think I would waste time posting a review on a business unless it was definitely a FACT!!!!
Max had not been boarded for several years. My sister normally cares for him but was unable to for our vacation. Max is 16 and I was very nervous about boarding him. After trying to find other alternatives, we decided to board him rather last minute. Most places were booked up. Max was a healthy 16 year old when he was dropped off. My first concern was as soon as we walked in the lobby the smell was awful. It was too late to make a change as we had a flight to catch. I bought the Premium package that included daily updates. I had to call most days to get an update. Was told every time he was doing okay just sleeping a lot. I did not think this was abnormal as he sleeps a lot at home. We decided to come home 2 days early which they were informed. When I picked him up, he smelled so bad I could not hardly stand it. His eyes were almost matted shut. He could not hardly walk and two days later he still cannot hardly walk. We can get him to drink, but he is barely eating. He continued to be very lethargic. At this point, we are not sure he will survive. I feel I was not given honest updates on how he was doing. Max will never ever ho back to Dog Dayz.
I boarded my 10 month old French Bulldog, Matilda, the last weekend of October for a couple nights and was SO nervous since I had never left her overnight before. DogDayz is only about 10 minutes from where my husband and I live in Fishers so we decided to give them a try.
I'm really pleased with the service. My parents were nice enough to pick our pup up from the facility and they were also pleased with the staff and the condition Matilda was in when they picked her up (happy, healthy, and tuckered out from all the fun). My husband and I LOVED the nightly update texts with pictures to put our first-time pawrent stress at ease!
As a first-timer with boarding to anyone else first-time boarding their pup, I recommend DogDayz. I scheduled a day of daycamp this week and I have zero stress because I know my pup will be in great hands.
Reasonable prices, great customer service, and they treated my pup like family. I couldn't be happier! :)
P.S. I added one of the pictures I received from the nightly updates and the other picture one of my parents took after they picked her up.
I called stressed & exhausted as we just adopted an 8 week old puppy. she would scream bloody murder in her crate..when i say she screamed she would scream so loud I could hear her outside. i was at my wits end. i called looking for training and boarding and the owner…i forget his name 😅 picked up the phone. he gave me some advice & honestly it was the best advice i have received. my puppy used to cry and scream day & night if I wasnt around to hold her. with consistent crate training..she is literally a different dog. she cuddles on her bed by herself, does not cry anymore & will sleep perfectly fine while I am out working. cannot thank him enough for his advice. i can now sleep in peace knowing my little one is getting the hang of being a puppy.
